I'm delighted to be shortlisted in the excellent William Trevor/Elizabeth Bowen Short Story Competition 2012.
My entry for the Powers/Irish Times Short Story Competition 2012 (in which I shamelessly cite Powers Whiskey not once but twice!) has been long-listed out of 4,200 entries.
I could do with the massive €10,000 prize but there were 4,200 entries so the long-list is massive and I'm not holding my breath...
